Zubin Bhaumik

Zubin Bhaumik is a senior at Cornell University pursuing a dual major in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. He is currently a Robotics Researcher at the GRILL Lab, where his work focuses on generalizable robot intelligence, including 3D scene flow representation and diffusion-based manipulation policies. Previously, he was a Propulsion Engineer at SpaceX, contributing to Starship V2’s fuel and oxygen systems, and an Airframe Engineer for Cornell’s Unmanned Air Systems team, designing composite eVTOL aircraft for autonomous search-and-rescue missions. Zubin has also held roles at Zenith Aerospace and leads projects in robotic perception and motion planning. At Ursa Majors, he brings his passion for aerospace, robotics, and innovation to inspire the next generation of STEM learners.
