Julius Goldberg

Julius Goldberg is a senior at Cornell University majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on mechanical design, prototyping, and systems integration. As an Airframe Engineer for Cornell University Unmanned Air Systems (CUAir), he has led major redesigns for the team’s autonomous UAVs, optimizing manufacturability, structural integrity, and material efficiency. Julius has also worked on advanced mechanical and test engineering projects at Zipline, NetworkOcean, and DRONE NERDS, contributing to UAV systems, thermal optimization, and fixture design across aerospace and robotics applications.
His experience spans CAD, DFM, FEA, and rapid prototyping, supported by certifications as an Autodesk CAD Associate and FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot. At Ursa Majors, Julius applies his hands-on engineering mindset and design expertise to help students bridge creativity and technical problem-solving in STEM.
