Cathy Miao is a senior at Cornell University studying Computer Science in the College of Engineering. Her interests lie at the intersection of data science, machine learning, and real-world problem-solving, with a focus on how intelligent systems can enhance accessibility and innovation across disciplines. At Cornell, Cathy serves as a teaching assistant for the Girls Who Code chapter, where she helps introduce students to programming and computational thinking through mentorship and project-based learning.

Outside the classroom, Cathy enjoys creative writing and watching soccer, finding balance between her analytical and creative pursuits. Through Ursa Majors, she hopes to empower students to explore STEM with curiosity and confidence, fostering a more inclusive and inspired community of future innovators.
