Aniket Martins

Aniket Martins is a Meinig Family Cornell National Scholar pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University. His interests span aerospace systems, robotics, and national security applications, reflected in his research with the Aerospace ADVERSARY Laboratory, where he studies unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for defense and strategic use. He also serves as an Airframe Engineer and Safety Lead for Cornell University Unmanned Air Systems, where he prototypes eVTOL airframes and composite structures using carbon fiber and advanced fabrication techniques.
Beyond engineering, Aniket is a Laidlaw Scholar and Junior Fellow at the Cornell Brooks School Tech Policy Institute, researching algorithmic warfare and the intersection of technology and defense strategy. His prior experience includes work in education, policy, and materials engineering across organizations such as i5 Space, Henkel, and the Town of Fairfield. At Ursa Majors, Aniket brings a deep commitment to leadership, mentorship, and advancing student engagement in aerospace and defense innovation.
